2010 Iraq Election results by leading party and by province: Maliki's State Law, Allawi's Iraquia, Kurdish Alliance and Iran-backed allince as of 19th March, 2010

As of 19th March, more than 80% votes were counted in almost all the regions. An interesting pattern shows up when you map the province by the party that has lead in that province. It appears that Maliki's State Law is holding lead in 8 provinces including Baghdad while former Prime Minister Allawi's is dominant among the traditionally Sunni voting provinces and is close behind Maliki's in Baghdad. Northern 3 provinces are dominated by Kurdish Alliance while three provinces in South are dominated by Iraqi-backed alliance.
