EPA Cancer Risks Estimates by County, USA, 2002
This dataset displays data from the EPA's 2002 national scale assessment estimates across the USA by County. This data specifically covers cancer risk level that is found within the county.
The dataset contains: name of county, distinction if the county is rural or urban, cancer risk rate per million, and cancer risk rate per trillion.
The results are not actual measurements of risk, but rather estimates that are generated from computer models. These risk estimates should not be confused with measured risks, such as analyses of past automobile crashes, which are supported by actual observations of events.
