Energy Star Locations-Commercial Buildings and Plants, Washington DC, 2008

This dataset includes the geocoded locations of all of the Energy Star approved commercial buildings and plants in Washington D.C. The latitude and longitude locations of each building were geocoded by using the Batchgeocoder through the website(http://www.batchgeocode.com/) available geocoder. Note that accuracy of some locations may be slightly off due calibration of the Batchgeocoder.

ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. Their mission is to aid in saving money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.
